My Style .... Your Style ?

We all have our own unique style in clothing, speech, walking ...... and even home decor.
I love to see and enroll all those mismatches.
And that makes life so vivid, surprising and meaningful!

Playing Blues

One of strong color of Autumn is Blue.
Ultramarine blue is showing all most in all collections. It is strong in prints and knitwear.
In accessories ultramarine is perfect and easy to combine with all most any other color.
Not only ultramarine but also all shades of blue are very popular and beautiful Autumn colors,
especially I love then to be combined with browns.

Blue is very trendy color also when talking about interior decoration.
It is truly refreching color when trying to create new look for home for winter time.
And blue loves brown and white, those most usual interior colors.

Mirror Mirror On The Wall ...

Mirrors are one of the easiest way to renew any room.
Mirrors reflect light so that you can create entirely new atmosphere.
Mirrors generate more spacious feeling and increase airiness.
You can use mirrors as pieces of art or act as a window. And most of all you can see there beautiful you!

There are many imaginative ways to frame and hang the mirror and those are the very important parts
to accomplish personal mirror setting witch is compatible with furnishing and decor.

Why have only one mirror?
Beautiful mirror setup can be made of old mirrors or you can collect old frames and craft them mirrors.
Stores selling mirrors cut the right size of pieces to you and also frame them if wanted.

Autumn Lights

Autumn and dark nights have come and it´s time to light up the garden.
Still the evenings are warm enough to sit outside and admire the colors of nature and smell the scents of autumn leaves.
Easy way to make a colorful lighting string to garden is to use very ordinary things as the cupcake paper molds.
Cut a small grid to bottom of paper mold and wire it on the small lamp.

Note

What else can I say! I love linen, even it´s "difficult" cloth. Not easy to wash or iron and it becomes wrinkle easily.
Linen is pure natural vegetable fiber  and instead those few arduous features, it has many lovely qualities.
Above all linen is the coolest cloth wear on hot summer days and absolutely nicest quality on bedclothes.
I got to know lovely French shop in internet,  Le REpèRe des BeletTesselling beautiful basic linen bedding.
They have charming, earth toned color palette and lot of alternatives.
I also recommend to explore their entire collection witch is full of engaging things for interior decoration.

Grey Days

It has been two cold and grey rainy days and it has kept me almost all the time inside the house.
OK, lets start to look for warm beautiful grey things, grey happens to be my favorite color through the years.
Grey is classic delicious, natural color witch I favor also in furnishing and interior decoration, especially on winter time.
Grey looks gorgeous in soft wool  as felt, tweed and voluminous knits.
I love to dress monotonically all grey, to it´s different shades and have only very small spot of color example bright red.
Here some beautiful samples of grey from Autumn / Winter 2012-13 collections.

MAX TAN

I want to introduce you one of my favorite young designer: Max Tan, placed in Singapore.
This way his work has been described on the web site: max-tan.com.

"Androgynous meets soft geometry: Experimenting with quirk cuts and expanding on extremely simple ideas,
Max conjures up silhouettes that conceals the wearer’s form, creating a new shape altogether.
Constantly exploring the relationship between the masculine and the feminine; Max designs for women with an artistic and intellectual bent.
Maximizing on minimalistic ideas, proportions are sometimes blown out of proportions."

For Autumn - Winter 2012 Max Tan has created a splendid collection BLANK FRAMES
Pieces of clothes that have at the same time delicate femininity and a unique masculine touch.

BLANK FRAMES | autumn/winter 2012-13
Creating unlimited possibilities and ideas bounded by a limited four-sided form.

The fickle fashion world craves novelty leaves no room for age. How can one remain forever young? It seems that only in a portrait can one’s youth and beauty be frozen in time. BLANK FRAMES toys with the idea of a portrait frame and develops into a study of trigonometry and geometrical methods applied on garments; the relationship between fabric and the wearer. How many ways can a rectangular form fall on a human body? How can fashion details be constructed from geometrical forms?

Drapery approach and discarding standard drafting rules makes sets the foundation for the collection. Combined with soft jacquard knits, these garments lose the flat, rigid forms and takes on a new shape conforming to the wearer’s body.

“The limits of the possible can only be defined by going beyond them into the impossible.” -Arthur C. Clarke
